I am an artist inspired by women, technology, and nature. Born in Caracas, Venezuela and currently based in Vancouver, Canada.
From an early age, I had a keen interest in animal illustrations. My mother would send me to art courses at the Sofia Imber Museum during the summers, where I would replicate famous artworks by contemporary artists. During high school, this interest evolved into street art and anime, and I gained popularity within Venezuelan street artist communities under the nickname Happy.
While studying architecture at FAU UCV, I transitioned to creating linear drawings and 3D models to express spatial ideas and geometrical compositions. Since 11-11-2011, I have been working as an architect, developing public and private projects in Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Spain, China, and Canada.
In 2015, I won first place in the National Comic Competition and worked as an illustrator for the opinion section of a daily national newspaper in Venezuela. My illustrations often featured animal characters reflecting the political, economic, and social situation in the country. At times, my opinions against the situation were censored by the newspaper to avoid conflicts with the government.
My artwork has evolved from typical drawings and paintings to digital art and animations. In recent years, new art technology has been introduced, and I am actively experimenting with it.
Currently, I am working at Public Architecture, developing projects in British Columbia and exploring new art concepts.
